DKNY fashion designs

Fashion designers work so hard in order to provide us with the things we need in order to feel great and the things that boost our esteem. If we do not have these fashion designers, then we will not be feeling as great as we feel when we wear a well designed outfit or even when we wear accessories or cosmetics. Fashion is not only for one group of people as many people tend to believe. It is for all generations consisting of male and female, the children, the young adults, the adults themselves and the old. Practically, everyone likes feeling good about how they look, which is why we go after designs like DKNY, which stands for Donna Karan New York.

The DKNY is a label of a famous fashion designer Donna Karan. The label was started way back in 1988 by Donna and her husband Karan, she was the head designer and her husband’s main goal was to combine comfort and luxury in the clothing lines. Which is what her target market wanted at that time, and to impress them the goal had to be attained. She managed to do that because her clothes are currently selling in markers all over the world.

PAUL’S BOUTIQUE

Established in 2002 by Paul Slade, Paul’s Boutique is based in South Ruislip, London whose main line of business is manufacturing bags, hoodies and other fashion accessories. They gained widespread popularity with female teenagers and have been known for their “I love PB” logo in all their products. They sell their products online at their website at http://www.pauls-boutique.com/ or we can just visit Top shop, ASOS, Cult, Bank Fashion and Hype stores which carry this brand.

It all started when Paul Slade wanted to go clubbing but faced a problem of not having anything to wear. He bought a suit which cost £4, and redesigned it by showing all the inside seams and pockets. Someone approached him and saw the suit which he had made and instantly ordered 10 suits which he later sold for £600 each. Slade had his big break when he got a stall at the Portobello market where he sold heavily branded vintage wear and army surplus. When Top shop saw what he had made, he was asked to open a store in their Oxford Circus branch. The rest as they say is now history.

Twenty8Twelve and Sienna Miller

Sienna Miller is more known as a British actress who has starred in many feature films. Other than that, she has also been known to be British actor Jude Law’s one time partner. What other people may know about her though is that she has a sister by the name of Savannah. Together, they have become the positive force behind the fashion label Twenty8Twelve.

Brief history of Twenty8Twelve
Not much can be said about the fashion label Twenty8Twelve since it is quite new to the industry. Even early on, Sienna Miller has opted to concentrate in film and playwriting. It was due to the fact that even during her early years, she has already dreamt of becoming an actress. It was her sister Savannah, however, who was more into fashion design.
As Sienna continued to devote herself to an acting career, Savannah took up fashion design in 2000 in the Central St. Martin’s College of Art and Design. It was after her graduation in 2004 when her sister Sienna decided to join her in her venture into the world of fashion.

The reasons for wearing clothing and attires

A cloth is a garment that covers the human body. This can be traced way back from the very ancient origin of man. Clothing is in itself the very characteristic of human beings. Different societies and cultures are easily identified through their mode of dressing which means dressing does not function as a covering to human body but it also carries other functions and significance.

Some societies only covered the small parts of their body which they considered naked and that completed their dressing. Others wore garments and attires that carried social significance.

Low-rise Pants: To Wear or Not To Wear?

Low-rise pants and jeans have become more common in recent years. Otherwise known as lowcut jeans, hipsters, hip-huggers and lowriders, these pair of pants usually sit at least three inches below the navel. This style started around the 1960s although they have become more popular in recent years. This style was made popular by the hippies of that era and these were later made more popular during the disco era. British designer, Alexander McQueen, revived this said style around 1996 and it was singer Britney Spear who pushed for the proliferation of this style through her music videos.
